Anil Okay is an entrepreneur and the founder and CEO of Adalvo, one of the fastest-growing global B2B pharmaceutical companies. Since launching the company in 2018, he has built Adalvo from the ground up into a top three player worldwide. Under his leadership, Adalvo has delivered exceptional results, with EBITDA doubling every single year since inception. Today, the company holds the industry’s largest B2B pharma pipeline and continues its impressive growth trajectory, powered by an agile and innovative business model.

With nearly two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical sector, Anil is a proven P&L leader and commercial strategist with deep expertise in M&A, licensing, deal-making, and building sustainable partnerships. Over his career, he has executed transactions exceeding $25 billion, consistently driving growth, turnarounds, and value creation.

Before he launched Adalvo, Anil was a founding member of Alvotech's management team, serving as Chief Commercial Officer until October 2025. He built the company's go-to-market model, secured multi-billion-dollar partnerships, and was pivotal in its IPO and triple Nasdaq listings in the US, Sweden, and Iceland. Earlier, he led Global Sales and Licensing at HELM AG, and held senior commercial roles at Abdi Ibrahim, managing operations across 40+ markets. He began his career at Sanofi, progressing from medical sales into business development.

Anil holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mathematics & Computer Engineering and Business Administration (with honors) from Vienna Technical University and Istanbul Kultur University, as well as a Master’s in Marketing Management from Galatasaray University. He has further enhanced his leadership skills through executive education at Harvard and INSEAD.

He was recognized as “Leader of the Year” at the 2021 Global Generics and Biosimilars Awards and has received multiple other industry accolades.

Anil Okay

Faysal brings over 26 years of experience in pharmaceutical drug development and commercialization, including 21 years in portfolio management, research and development, and business development. He specializes in generics and biosimilars, with deep expertise in product portfolio strategy, IP assessment, and R&D.

Faysal joined Adalvo in August 2023. Previously, he held various management positions at Synthon for nearly 16 years before joining Alvogen in 2015 as Executive Vice President of Portfolio, Business Development, and R&D. In 2022, he moved to Alvotech, serving as COO and Head of Portfolio and Product Management.

He holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry from Radboud University, Nijmegen, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD.

Faysal Kalmoua

Martina leads the Scientific Affairs teams for Adalvo. She brings more than 20 years of experience within the pharmaceutical industry. She has worked across global regulatory setups for over 15 years. Leading teams across all continents, Martina successfully spearheaded several thousand MA strategies including many proprietary, 505(b)(2)/hybrid and complex products.

Throughout her career, Martina has repeatedly secured full regulatory approval for proprietary and innovative products, far ahead of typical EU regulatory timelines.

Martina Feitzinger

Alessandra leads Adalvo's Quality team, bringing more than 20 years of hands-on experience in pharmaceutical technical operations and Quality Assurance. She has a strong track record in compliance remediation for large manufacturing sites producing injectable products.

Before joining Adalvo, Alessandra held senior Quality leadership roles at several notable pharmaceutical companies, including J&J, Pfizer, Haupt Pharma, Patheon Thermo Fisher, and Kedrion. She has successfully managed more than 30 regulatory inspections conducted by major international authorities such as the US FDA, EMA, PMDA, ANVISA, the Russian MoH, and Turkish MoH.

Alessandra began her career in Research & Development at Biosearch Manufacturing (later integrated into Pfizer). She holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Federico II in Naples, Italy. Passionate about pharmaceutical manufacturing, she maintains an unwavering commitment to product quality and patient safety across all operations.

Alessandra Ruggiero

Andreas brings over two decades of global experience in supply chain, procurement, and operations, having held senior leadership roles at Pharmathen, Zentiva, Sandoz, and Henkel. With a proven track record in building world-class teams, optimizing end-to-end supply chains, and driving multimillion-Euro efficiencies, Andreas is a visionary leader who combines strategic thinking with deep operational expertise.

At Adalvo, he leads the Supply Chain and Global Procurement functions, helping us further strengthen our operational excellence and deliver on our ambitious growth goals.

Andreas Kopp

Arni leads Adalvo’s commercial teams and has more than 16 years of experience in the generics industry. He previously held roles at well-established B2B companies including Pharmathen and Chanelle Medical.

As one of Adalvo’s co-founders, Arni has been instrumental in building the company’s global commercial business team and driving growth across multiple markets.

Arni Baldursson

Frank serves as Adalvo's VP of Information Technology, spearheading the development and execution of the company's IT strategy. With over 35 years in the IT industry, he brings extensive experience from renowned companies like Microsoft and Google.

His diverse technical background, combined with strong business acumen, makes Frank a valuable asset for Adalvo. He holds an MSc in IT and an MSc in Business and Organizational Psychology from the University of Liverpool, along with an MSc in Physics from the University of Karlsruhe.

Frank Fischer

Gabi leads Adalvo’s Human Resources and Corporate Communications functions, bringing over 10 years of experience within the HR field. She has a rich and varied background spanning hospitality, events and pharmaceutical industries. Gabi is responsible for the strategic development of our human resources function and people strategy. She has extensive experience with employee engagement, compensation and benefits, reward & recognition, professional growth, culture and communications, training and performance management.

Gabi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and went on to earn an MBA from Henley University. She’s continued to enhance her knowledge through various education programs related to counselling and digital marketing.

Gabi Cassar

István leads the Portfolio function for Adalvo. He brings 15 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career he has been involved in managing portfolio and product securement for various regional and global companies. His interest lies mainly with complex and orphan products where he has a solid track record navigating various commercial regions from Europe to Asia-Pacific. István brings a broad knowledge when it comes to product assessment, market evaluation and competitive intelligence. 

István holds an M.sc in Economics and an MBA in Business Management.  

István Tislér

A business-oriented lawyer who specializes in the pharmaceutical industry, Jessica currently serves as General Counsel at Adalvo. She’s focused on supporting strategic growth by aligning legal frameworks with business objectives in complex, fast-paced environments, taking a pragmatic and solutions-driven approach. 
 
Jessica holds an Executive MBA from Esade Business School, with a focus on leadership, innovation, and strategic decision-making. 
 
Bilingual in English and Spanish, with international experience across diverse cultural environments, Jessica brings a global perspective and adaptability to cross-border challenges. 

Jessica Hugas

Luca leads the R&D function for Adalvo. He brings 15 years of experience in the industry. Throughout his career he has been involved in the development of generics, 505(b)(2) and branded products, for worldwide markets. His interest lies mainly with complex drug products like injectable peptides, implants, extended-release oral dosage forms and topical products. Luca brings a broad knowledge when it comes to technical product assessment, drug product development and registration in highly regulated markets.

Luca holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology and Biopharmaceutics.

Luca Strusi

In this pivotal role, Mark oversees all financial operations, drives strategic financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting, and spearheads initiatives to ensure Adalvo’s financial health and sustainable growth. He is also instrumental in managing risk and leading financial strategies aligned with our business objectives.

Mark brings with him an impressive 20-year career spanning both professional services and key industry sectors. At Deloitte Malta, he dedicated 17 years to managing an extensive portfolio of local and international audit clients across diverse industries. His expertise deepened through senior financial leadership roles at Alvogen and Calamatta Cuschieri Moneybase Plc. He successfully managed complex corporate structures within shared service environments, consistently driving financial efficiency and ensuring compliance in highly regulated industries.

Known for his passion for people, Mark excels in building high-performing teams and driving change management, ensuring sustainable financial growth and operational efficiency. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), he brings a wealth of expertise in corporate finance, compliance, and strategic planning, making him a valuable asset in guiding the company's financial future.

Simon Kukec

Toni leads the Intellectual Property team at Adalvo with over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience. He's developed and implemented complex patent and data exclusivity litigation strategies for generics and value-added products, including parallel litigation cases across multiple European countries. He's also experienced in patent and trademark prosecution.

Toni qualified as a European Patent Attorney in 2010 and holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry.

Toni Santamaria

Aida is responsible for the overall strategic management of Adalvo's portfolio and sales within Southern Europe, in line with Adalvo's B2B strategy. Her particular focus is on driving growth and expanding market presence.

Aida has extensive experience in international business development and marketing. Her expertise spans customer management, negotiations, and CRM system implementation within dynamic and fast-paced environments.

Aida Vila

Agatha leads Adalvo’s South European Business Development cluster, with a focus on licensing our products in the market and ensuring strong coverage for Adalvo’s portfolio. She is also responsible for building and nurturing relationships with our partners across the region.

Agatha Vazquez

Bruno Alves is responsible for Adalvo´s business development activities in Brazil and MENA.

Bruno has over 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical business development and partnership management.

Before Adalvo, Bruno worked at Tecnimede’s international out-license department, where he supported the company’s expansion in MENA and APAC, with a strong knowledge of local/regional registration requirements. Bruno was responsible for forecasting and business plan analysis for both Generics and RX Innovative/Added Value products under B2B and B2C models.

Bruno holds a Master's degree in Biology from Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa.

Bruno Alves

Can is an accomplished, entrepreneurial, and decisive Executive Commercial & Business Development Leader. He brings strong experience from his time working in multiple countries for large-scale local and global Pharmaceutical and Agriculture organizations, covering Europe, USA, Middle East, Asia, and Turkish markets.

Can has deep expertise in driving global business development and managing market cycles. He’s successfully negotiated high-volume licensing agreements, implemented initiatives for commercial excellence, and managed complex portfolios. In addition, he’s developed sales and distribution strategies, expanded export markets, and led product launch optimization programs. Can is also passionate about winning new business and, more importantly, nurturing strong client relationships.

Can Adamoglu

Ciaran brings over 20 years of pharmaceutical experience in Business Development, Supply Chain, and Leadership across global markets including Europe, the Americas, GCC, Asia-Pacific, Russia, CIS, and South Africa. 

He has a proven track record of building strong commercial partnerships and driving business growth in diverse markets. Known for his leadership and mentoring abilities, Ciaran excels at coaching individuals and fostering highly engaged, productive teams. 

Ciaran Burke

In this key leadership role, Paulo drives Adalvo’s growth by leading key strategic projects and M&A activities. He oversees corporate processes and commercial strategies for major initiatives, identifies opportunities to expand the company’s presence, and strengthens affiliate relationships. Central to delivering on our growth ambitions, Paulo has already made a significant impact.

Paulo Rodriguez

Marc is responsible for leading Adalvo’s business development activities in Western Europe.

He brings more than seven years of experience in business development, partnership management, and sales strategy – including over four years within the pharmaceutical industry.

Before joining Adalvo, Marc worked at Galenicum Health, Chemo, and Amazon Web Services, where he contributed to expanding each company’s B2B footprint across Europe.

Marc holds an MBA in International Management from ICEX/CECO and UIMP University in Madrid.

Marc Nolasco

Marta is responsible for our business development activities in Southern Europe. 

She started her professional career as a consultant, and soon joined the pharmaceutical industry, where she’s gained over ten years’ experience in business development, commercial and sales strategies, and partnerships.  

Prior to Adalvo, Marta worked at Galenicum Health, where she contributed to the company’s B2C growth in LATAM and their B2B expansion within Europe and APAC countries. 

Marta holds a Degree in Business Administration and an MSc in International Management from ESADE Business School, in Barcelona. 

Marta Puig

Patricia is responsible for the overall strategic management of Adalvo's portfolio and sales across APAC, Mexico and Central America, in line with Adalvo's B2B strategy. Her focus is on driving growth and expanding market presence in the region.

She has extensive experience in international business development and marketing.

Patricia holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Lisbon and has completed a Marketing Specialization at ESAN – Graduate School of Business in Lima, Peru.

Patricia Monteiro

Tarun serves as Business Development Senior Director at Adalvo, bringing extensive experience across global markets including the US, EU, LATAM, MENA, and APAC. He's successfully driven numerous in-licensing and out-licensing deals, plus B2B partnerships for biosimilars, peptides, 505(b)(2)s, generics and vaccines. With a proven track record in establishing biologics CDMO and CMO businesses, Tarun excels at identifying new opportunities to expand portfolios. 

His expertise spans business development and licensing, M&A, brand acquisition, market access strategy, and lifecycle management. He pioneered biosimilar product development in India and led successful market launches in various markets. Tarun holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Toxicology, completed post-doctoral research in Drug Repurposing, and is a registered Pharmacist in India. 

Tarun Chawla, PhD

Veronika is responsible for out-licensing Adalvo's pipeline and portfolio products, aligning strategies with our B2B objectives. Her role focuses on building expertise in differentiated generics, negotiating licensing and supply agreements, and fostering strong partnerships to expand our customer base. 

Veronika brings over nine years of international experience in pharmaceutical business development, particularly in the B2B out-licensing sector. Her expertise spans customer management, negotiations, and CRM system implementation within dynamic and fast-paced environments. 

Veronika Kriaučiūnienė

Can leads Adalvo’s North and West Europe Business Development team. He’s a licensed pharmaceutical sales representative under §75 of the German Medicines Act (AMG).

Before joining Adalvo, Can gained valuable experience at Tiefenbacher Pharmaceuticals, where he was responsible for managing supply chains, key accounts, and out-licensing activities for multinational companies.

Can holds a bachelor’s degree in International Management.

Can Özden

Sofia Ferreira is a seasoned executive with over 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry. She specializes in commercial operations, strategic management, and international business development across Europe and LATAM.

At Tecnimed, she served as General Manager for the Colombia affiliate, successfully leading market expansion efforts throughout Latin America, with a particular focus on Brazil.

Known for her results-oriented approach, Sofia has strong expertise in addressing complex business challenges. She leads with empathy—toward both customers and teams—fostering a culture of achievement and innovation. Her leadership inspires teams to continuously push boundaries and deliver genuine customer value.

Sofia Ferreira

Iolanda manages out-licensing activities at Adalvo, developing strategic partnerships and expanding business opportunities. 

She's a pharmacist with a postgraduate degree in Management and over 14 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. This enables her to combine scientific expertise with exceptional business development skills. 

Throughout her career, Iolanda has held roles across in-licensing, out-licensing, and key account management. She has a proven track record of identifying profitable market opportunities and establishing strong, sustainable partnerships. 

Iolanda Costa

Simão is responsible for business development activities in the Balkans and supports related initiatives in the Nordic region. He also oversees COGS analysis from a commercial perspective, evaluates market assumptions, and ensures alignment between relevant departments.

Simão began his professional career as an In-Licensing Intern at Bluepharma Genéricos, where he contributed to developing the company's portfolio for the Portuguese market.

He holds an MSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Coimbra, and is currently completing a postgraduate course in International Market Access at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Lisbon.

Simão Oliveira

Fernando is responsible for LATAM Business Development and Sales activities across the Andean Region and Brazil. He negotiates out-licensing of Adalvo's pipeline and portfolio products, and oversees all activities related to product lifecycles.

Fernando holds a Master’s degree in Pharmaceutical & Para-pharmaceutical Industry from CESIF Barcelona and has over 10 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector.

He began his career in Regulatory Affairs, specializing in EU and LATAM registrations and post-approval product management. He later transitioned into Business Development, leveraging his regulatory expertise to drive business expansion strategies for B2B out-licensing across LATAM. Before joining Adalvo, he served as Business Head, LATAM, at Intas Pharmaceuticals.
