Adalvo Strengthens Executive Leadership with Two Senior Appointments

Business
30 April 2026

Adalvo, one of Europe's leading B2B pharmaceutical companies, today announced the appointment of Joan Fusté and Nick Kelly to senior executive roles, effective 1 January 2025. The appointments reflect Adalvo's continued investment in building the organisational capability needed to support its next phase of growth across 140+ markets.

Joan Fusté joins as Chief Financial Officer, bringing over 20 years of finance leadership experience across private equity-backed companies and multinational corporations in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Most recently, he served as Group CFO at FAMAR, where he drove CDMO growth and financial performance and led the company’s exit process through multiple bidders. Previously, as member of the initial founding team at Covis Pharma, he helped establish the company’s organizational structure and supported its growth through multiple M&A transactions, global platform expansion and operational excellence initiatives, ultimately contributing to two successful divestments in 2015 and 2020.

Nick Kelly joins as Chief Supply Chain Officer, with more than two decades of supply chain leadership across the pharmaceutical sector, spanning branded, generic, and medical device organisations. Prior to joining Adalvo, Nick served as SVP Supply Chain at Covis Pharma and previously held senior regional and global roles at Cardinal Health, Teva Pharmaceuticals, and Johnson & Johnson. His expertise spans end-to-end supply chain strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional leadership in complex, fast-moving environments.

Anil Okay, CEO of Adalvo, commented: "Joan and Nick bring exactly the calibre of leadership that Adalvo needs as we scale. Their combined experience across finance, operations, and supply chain - built in some of the most demanding environments in global pharma - will be instrumental in supporting our partners and delivering on our growth ambitions. We are delighted to welcome them to the team.

Joan Fusté added: "Adalvo is at a genuinely exciting point in its journey — a business with strong commercial foundations, an ambitious growth agenda, and the financial backing to execute. I'm looking forward to building a finance function that is a true strategic partner to the business, supporting our partners and our people as we scale."

Nick Kelly commented: "What attracted me to Adalvo was the pace and ambition of the business, and the opportunity to build a supply chain function that can genuinely differentiate us in the market. Delivering reliably for 170+ partners across 140 markets is a complex challenge — and one I'm very much looking forward to."

The appointments come as Adalvo continues to expand its global footprint, deepen its partner relationships, and build the infrastructure behind one of the industry's most ambitious B2B pharmaceutical growth stories.
