Switzerland, 20 July 2026 — Adalvo has entered into a partnership with humanitarian aid organization Direct Relief to expand access to essential medicines for underserved communities worldwide. The partnership marks a significant step in Adalvo's commitment to ensuring that life-changing treatments reach the patients who need them most — beginning with a donation targeting one of the most serious gaps in global cancer care.
Adalvo's inaugural donation of lenalidomide, a specialist oncology medicine used to treat multiple myeloma — a serious blood cancer affecting the body's immune system — will support patients in under-resourced regions where access to advanced cancer treatment is often out of reach.
Direct Relief works with more than 2,000 healthcare providers and organizations across the globe, delivering donated medicines and medical supplies that strengthen local health systems and help people access essential care. Its cancer care programs span essential medicines, diagnostic resources, and support for patients facing significant barriers to treatment.
Cancer affects people everywhere, yet outcomes still depend heavily on where a patient lives. People in low- and middle-income countries face disproportionately higher mortality due to barriers in screening, diagnostics, and healthcare infrastructure itself. This partnership aims to help close that gap.
